My Favourite Game!    



In this blog post I will be talking about my favourite game, it's called 'Escape Room' and can be found on the App store or Google store. It's a game where you need to solve riddles, puzzles, clues to get to the next level. 


 

This is my favourite game because it's like a brain teaser. I playing this game when I'm at work and have nothing to do, when I wake up or even when I'm with my friends and we're all bored, we like to solve these. 


By saying that, we don't always solve the puzzles, since we're not the smartest people alive😂 Thankfully, there's a website that contains all the answers to all the levels. I only ever use this website when I have really really tried but don't know how to solve it.


The riddles sometimes make sense and other times don't but it's always fun to try them and it's ever more satisfying solving them. 

I also think this game wakes up some times and makes me focus more, especially when I just wake up or am nearly falling asleep in work😂







For example what would you think the answer to this level is? (I honestly didn't know so I used the website with answers to find it) I'm not gonna lie that answer didn't make much sense to me either.

    Hi Lougein! I've always been looking for a game which I can solve but they are all like 3 star ratings on google play so thank you for the suggestion ;) I especially love criminal games which you can solve but they end up being really weird and the ads that come out of them are constant which gets so annoying! -Anna

    Hi Lougein, Escape games are always fun I've played a few myself although not in app form. Have you ever played the Zero Escape games? They're pretty much puzzle games but with a "Saw" twist to them. Riddles can always be great fun because they make you think so I see why you enjoy this game in particular.

Game Design! I never really understood how Games were made or how much work goes into Progress of Game Design making them, since I don’t really play games but after reading the articles I was assigned to read, I realised there was so much more to Game Design than what I thought there was. I gained an appreciation for it like I do for Art History, since the making of a game is an art in a way. Our Professor, Shaun,  provided us with many articles regarding Games/ Game Design. Prototype!

Prototype! This week I’ve been working on the prototype for my game, I was keeping an open mind before starting this despite my lack of interest and enthusiasm for the game. When starting the prototype I had so much trouble with Unity, it was so frustrating, I kept restarting my laptop, it would work for a little while then shut down again. It got to a point where everything was deleted so that was really annoying but If I had more work done on my prototype I would have been angrier about that.
