Doing Reading 06!

Updated Annotated Bibliographies!

This week's reading task was really fun, again very shocking. I'm glad for last week's task because it made this week's task so much easier. I used the key that I made last week which consisted of all the themes I discovered while reading through my annotated bibliographies, to help me form paragraphs about each topic since my key was not in order when I started it was really confusing and hard to connect each paragraph to the next, so instead I rearranged each paragraph and made connections between the first, the second, the third... so on and so forth, it all started to add up and make sense.

Game Design!

Game Design! I never really understood how Games were made or how much work goes into Progress of Game Design making them, since I don’t really play games but after reading the articles I was assigned to read, I realised there was so much more to Game Design than what I thought there was. I gained an appreciation for it like I do for Art History, since the making of a game is an art in a way. Our Professor, Shaun,  provided us with many articles regarding Games/ Game Design. The first of them being What is a game? Prototype!

Prototype! This week I’ve been working on the prototype for my game, I was keeping an open mind before starting this despite my lack of interest and enthusiasm for the game. When starting the prototype I had so much trouble with Unity, it was so frustrating, I kept restarting my laptop, it would work for a little while then shut down again. It got to a point where everything was deleted so that was really annoying but If I had more work done on my prototype I would have been angrier about that.
