Reading 07!

Reading 07! 

This week's writing task was different from any I've done this semester so far, we were put into groups of 3 where we shared critical feedback amongst one another. I believe that receiving critical feedback is one of the most important components when it comes to writing (in general).


After receiving my feedback from Khang and Megan, I have made many changes to my paragraphs, I used Khang's recommendation to use a five sentence structure to each paragraph which included: 

-An introduction

-A sentence of meat 

-A conclusion


And also used Megan's suggestion on using headings for each paragraph as it can be confusing and also adding more quotes.


After using the feedback I received, I was able to better my paragraphs and clearly see a difference between how confusing/ unorganised they were to how they are now. Hence why I believe critical feedback is necessary and I am glad we will be doing this over the next few weeks.

Game Design!

Game Design! I never really understood how Games were made or how much work goes into Progress of Game Design making them, since I don’t really play games but after reading the articles I was assigned to read, I realised there was so much more to Game Design than what I thought there was. I gained an appreciation for it like I do for Art History, since the making of a game is an art in a way. Our Professor, Shaun,  provided us with many articles regarding Games/ Game Design. The first of them being What is a game? Prototype!

Prototype! This week I’ve been working on the prototype for my game, I was keeping an open mind before starting this despite my lack of interest and enthusiasm for the game. When starting the prototype I had so much trouble with Unity, it was so frustrating, I kept restarting my laptop, it would work for a little while then shut down again. It got to a point where everything was deleted so that was really annoying but If I had more work done on my prototype I would have been angrier about that.
